Folks,
If you're buying an overdrive harness from British Wiring (part number 698),
ask
about part number 698S. P/N 698 has a 14 strand white wire (16 gage). Based
on some feedback from John Loftus, BW had a special run done with the original
28 strand wire (14 gage). I believe they did the run a couple years ago, but
they still have them.
According to the BW catalog, this harness is correct for the BN6s after #3459
through the BJ7s. It can be used for the earlier 100-Six cars, but it isn't
concours (PVC covered wire instead of braid).
