| Until I got new rear springs if I wanted to raise the entire car I too used to have to use the two-step method described by John Sims, rasing the front a bit, then jacking the rear, then coming back to the front. Last year I installed the DW rear springs and gained back about 1-1/2" ride heigh in the rear--I can jack the front and still have clearance to slide a jack underneath the rear crossmember.
