According to my SU Reference catalogue, for a 3000 MKIII, with carburator 
spec AUD124......damper AUC8112 is correct/original.
For your information; AUC8119 was fitted to Rover 2000 P6 from 1978 
on...with HS8 carb. (Exception 1966 modell had HD8carb).
