| Someone on this list suggested making index marks with a Sharpie after tightening the knockoffs. I've been doing this a couple of years and they self-tighten every time. I advocate the Harbor Freight 4-lb shot filled rubber dead blow mallet. Once had a stuck knockoff and my wood wrench went all to hell when the going got tough. That time I had to hold a 2x4 on the ear and hit it really hard with an 8-lb steel sledge. Did the trick. -- Steve Gerow Pasadena CA 59 BN6 |
