| I'm replacing the front engine mounts on my BN1. I will place a board under the front of the oil pan (where the pan lip joins the block) and then put a hydraulic jack under the board. I would then like to jack the front of the engine up just slightly -- just enough to take the pressure off the mounts. Is it possible to get the old mounts our and new ones in without jacking further. I'd like to avoid a major disassembly. Thanks for the help, Ben |
