Hello everyone. Have you ever noticed that driving lights (the separate
add-on lights) have an insert that encases at least part of the bulb ? At
least on some, the insert blocks the bulb from being seen head-on. Is that
the purpose ? Would it be too bright otherwise (for oncoming traffic) ?
I'm cleaning up some old ones and was thinking about leaving out the insert.
