The Registries are generally set up by Model...100, 100-6, 3000, etc., to
track ownership and provenance. Tell me what model your friend's car is and
I'll
get you in touch with the proper registrar.
As to originality, there is a Concours Committee, dedicated to originality,
that publishes originality standards. The Website is:
