Harmonic balancer for 100-4 BN2 ??

Hi All, do the 2.6L 4 cyl. engines have harmonic balancers??  I never
paid that much attention to these to notice.  If not, would installing
one do any good for anything??  How about using using one from a 6 cyl.
Healey engine??  I know there would be belt width problems.  This info
is for my friend and neighbor who is restoring his BN2.  Thanx to ya'll
for some feedback.
