| This List is great! Was going through the emails re the horn problem. Saw
Rich Chrysler's and Ken Mason's comments.
Have a set of horns for my BN7 MK2 that have not tooted for almost 25 years.
B/4 trying the disassembly process described by Rich, decided to try the fix
described by Ken. One of these horns would only make a clicking sound as 12 v
was connected and disconnected, the other just laid there like a dead rat.
After tapping the first as Ken suggested it began to work. Trimmed the
adjuster, and it worked better. Tapped the dead rat, and it disgorged a bunch
of crap, and began to squeak. More tapping produced a functioning horn. The
2 together sound great.
Thanks Ken and Rich!
