documenting as-is healey - camera suggestions?

No healey content in this post other than asking:

What type of digital camera would be good and not overboard to photo 
document my healey prior to restoration?

I want to capture the details so I have a better idea when it is reassembled.

Do I need "macro" detail?

Any other advice?
