| Had to jump in here. When my restored 1961 Austin Healey 3000 arrived in
California from an Illinois restoration, I had to get California plates. A
little background here. A former high school classmate, ( a big car nut)
is the president of the Wheels O' Time museum i Peoria, Il. He also owns a
'61 Healey, but a BN7. His first name is also Gary and his Illinois license
plate read GARYS 61. That sounded good to me. I ordered the same thing on
my California plates, lo and behold, I got it. So if you see a Blue over
white Austin Healey with GARYS 61 Ca plates, that's me. I also get a kick
out of the car shows or parking lots. Invaribly, somebody asks, what year
is it, after giving it thorough looking over.
