I finally got the driveshaft fabricated and installed to complete the
installation of the Smitty 5-speed conversion on my BN1. Now I think I have a
problem. With the car in gear and the clutch pressed to the floor I would
expect to be able to move the car -- I can't. If I put the trans in neutral I
can push it back and forth. I set up everything per the manual and when I press
the clutch I can see the throw-arm move what seems like quite a lot. Anyone
have any idea what to try next, short of pulling the trans. I really don't want
to wrestle with that @#$%er again!
