Hi Olin,
Does your Tricarb have the other German Spec extras, as steering lock,
kilometer speedo, 1000C water temp gauge and continental exhaust (2 mufflers)?
If not, it could be your car was sold i.e. to an American armee soldier, having
American specs.
There were only a handful cars built with German specs. As far as I know they
had indicators instead of the reflectors and the reflectors were fitted
separately like BJ8 reflectors. These cars had a diffrent wiring loom with
additional wires for the rear indicator lights. They were delivered without the
square box relais at the inner lefthand front wing, as it was not needed.
