starting problem

Thanks to those who replied to my problem of starting.  Turned out to be 
two problems.  My ground cable connection to the body was dirty and not 
grounding and a bummed out battery.  Had just enough juice to run the 
lights etc...but not to turn over the engine.
David Nocks suggestion of turning on the lights and looking for a heated 
connection was right on.
