This is a tough question these days and I've had a rough couple of weeks
trying to get overdrive parts. I'm a little sour on this topic. The private
equity takeovers and supply chain issues have made parts purchasing a crap
shoot. I remember the good old days when we would tell people to support
TRF because they focused on "our cars" and quality parts while the
Victoria British and others would sell us JC Whitney quality stuff.
Nowadays we are lucky to find one source, and if the parts are available in
multiple places they are either Moss vendors, or all sourced from one low
cost provider. I'd recommend that they buy from TRF if they have it. Better
freight and they are in it for the right reasons. Second to BPNW but they
have a limited catalog. They are good guys, and carry what sells. As for
Moss, the merger has not helped service and stocking levels and the
customer service is suffering.
