 Yes, a slight piston dome, I use around 6cc, eliminates the need to cut th=
e head so much, & doesn't interfere w/flame travel/combustion.When you get =
down to around 3.150 thick, things get iffy...
Also when establishing CR, book recommendations are just that, general star=
ting points; valve head type & seat depth affect chamber volume, so it's be=
st to cut the head after all else has been established.
