Disclaimer, I volunteered to help with the VRG drivers school, and was
asked to get the word out there about the two programs the school
offers. Both programs run at Summit Point Motorsports Park in West
Viginia.  

The licensing school runs just prior to the Jefferson 500, and could be
best bang for your buck these days to get a racing credential from a VMC
accredited sanctioning body. Graduates of the school have always given
the program great reviews, you do the on-track exercises in your own
race car plus get a lot of skid pad time in an ex-police Crown Vic.  

The Advanced/Refresher Clinic is a one day program designed for current
drivers to up thier game, or to get licensed drivers who may have been
off track for some time back up to speed, so to speak.  

The email blast I copied below has more details. 

Typically, by this time of the year both programs are oversubscribed,
but we still have slots available for both programs. If you know anybody
thinking of jumping into the sport, or think your skills could benefit
from a refresher, 2023 would be a great year to do it!
