I have deep K&N air filters on my 40DCOE equipped TR7 Jack. They've been o=
n there for over 35 years now but I have to admit that I had to change the =
filters for new ones about 20 years ago. I think all the backfiring when t=
he tune of the engine wasn't so good rather burned out the originals.

I am getting ready to install a set of 40 DCOE Webers on my 1600 CC Ford en=
gine in my Morgan.? The Webers came with short (about 1 1/2 inches) velocit=
y stacks.? Does anyone know of a good air filter set-up for these carbs?? I=
know most of your race cars probably run without filters, but this is a st=
reet car, and I would really like to have filters.? Thanks.
