the forged Mahle pistons are 100gr lighter than the Wisecos.

On the photos the bigger shaped piston is the Mahle one.

But it is very fragil. The skirt is very thin and to compensate for =
piston slap the skirt is longer than on the Wisecos.

Price for one Piston was 250=E2=82=AC.

I weighed the Wisecos and compared them to some Malhe cast pistons I =
had. I'm doing this off memot but I think I weighed them with wrist pins =
but without rings.  The Wisecos were about a US pound and the cast =
Mahles 1.3 pounds. The wrist pins on the cast ones are heavier than the =
ones that came with the Wiseco's.  How much lighter are the custom =
Malhe's?

I did this once with also a set of Wiseco pistons.

I had cross scuffing on all 4 pistons, because the pistons expanded to =
much to the wrong direction.

I did use the coated pistons and replaced them with Mahle custom made =
pistons, which are lighter and never scuffed .

I use the Mahle set since 10 years now.
