Last report at the end of yesterday was the Huffaker TR8 was towed off track
and no where to be seen. Also Christian Marx in the Canadian TR8 set some
good lap times so if that race ever materializes it'll be a good one for
sure.
This is the biggest field I've ever seen at WG, there are race cars
everywhere as well as the infield and outside the track is packed with
spectators. Camping and Motorhomes as far as you can see. Really fantastic
support all around.
The Triumph activities on Friday were a lot of fun. For $145.00 you got a
60+ mile Rally, a brunch at the track, 3 laps of the course, 2 1/2 laps of
the old course, preferred paring in Lafayette Park close into the Friday
night town activities, 2 tickets to the track and a bottle of wine. Approx
95 street cars participated with a nice mix of all Triumph models.
Weather is wonderful. Full day of racing ahead.
