Amici,
A question regarding the new Koni Classic shocks available for the Spitfire:
They now include a dust cap and bump rubber like the older models. The dust
cap and bump rubber were eliminated for a time. The question is the bump
rubber inside the dust cap...remove it, shorten it or leave it alone?
I was disappointed to find that rebuilding a Koni shock is far more
expensive ($125-200 per shock) than buying new. I now have quite a
collection of used shocks in unknown condition between my three cars. Is
there any inexpensive solution for a rebuild or are they just nice
paperweights now?
Thanks!
