The reason our cars have body #s stamped on most parts is because they had
to match parts coming from the Jensen workshop had a variation in build
sizes. I have a bonnet from another 100-6 and it has never quite fit right.
Its a bit short.
I have heard that right to left doors are of different lengths.
Ever seen photos of the production line? These were hand built "mass"
produced cars
