Len Renkenberger wrote tech articles for the 6-pack in the early details of t=
hat TR6 club. He has a diff article that includes some trick that work for b=
uilding diffs. I've been happy with the ones I've built. Measuring pinion de=
pth before you remove the old pinion is a good place to start.

nd can just barely get the diff out, then I=E2=80=99m in the ballpark. I=E2=80=
=99m not trying to build a 50K mile, noiseless diff, I just want it to hold t=
ogether in races and not be louder than my singing when I=E2=80=99m racing (=
