Is it possible that the maximum total advance is not right? I would check
the timing mark for correct location on the pulley when no other obvious
cause of overheating (air lock...) can be found.
Marcel.

just returned from another race weekend with the tr3 overheating. in a 20
min on track session the car gets hotter and hotter ending around 240 deg
f. with about 1/2 gal of coolant blown out. i'm running a thick core, no
crank hole rad. and an oil cooler. i try to shroud the rad. as tight as
possible. is there an ultimate cure for this problem? thanks, ken m.
