If you are talking about a residual pressure valve, as the factory installed
on earlier cars, then I would say No, you don't need it. Instead you need
to install the uprated front axles and bearing spacers that were developed
to solve the same problem WITHOUT having the brakes drag all the time.
Not sure who all carries them, but TRF does.
