Well I practice not breathing a couple of weeks ago--involuntary.
Threw a massive Deep Vein Thrombosis [blood clot in leg] into my
lungs. Passed out on my feet. 911 by wife, EMT, emergency ride, ICU
for three days. Had an appointment with pulmonary doc yesterday. We
reviewed the CAT scan from the incident. 100% occlusion of right
pulmonary artery, 90% of left. Another 5% and I would not be here to
right this. Am fine now, except have to take rat poison [coumadin]
for the next year to keep the blood thin. Anybody out there race in
this condition? -- I sure intend to.
Do not recommend this as a breathing test!!!
