Hi,

I'm running a TR6 with pretty much a stock rear suspension that it
"upgraded" with TTune sprint springs and re-valved armstrong shocks. IT
works pretty good, but it looks like I could benefit from a bit more bump
resistance. Seeing that I autocross almost exclusively, the car
transitions a LOT and for my setup that means the car squats big time when
I jump on the throttle.

At any rate, I'm considering waivering from the close to "as shipped"
condition of my car (more like "as Harry Webster designed) and switching
to tube shocks in the rear.

I know about most of the bracket setups for TR6, as I purchased a set of
tubulars way-way back in the day (1978 or 1979) that came with
Monroe-matics!

So, my question is this: for the bolt-in shock brackets that are out there
in use ON RACE CARS - what are folks using for shocks? I know about AVO,
SPAX, and Koni. What I'd be looking for is something that gives me some
adjustment for bump... the Koni and Spax only allow rebound adjustment, so
we're probably talking about a two-way adjustable.

If you use this setup or know someone that does, I'd like some insight on
the matter.

Worst case, I have a pretty stout cage, so adding a couple of small bars
and some ears would be "way easy". I'm just looking to avoid the situation
I started about 5 years ago where we started going down the "$1200 per
shock" road. I'm looking for something a little closer to off-the-shelf
than "the-best-shock-ever-made".

TIA,
rml
