I suspect this is a different kit--I've seen some that have metal plates to
weld to the frame. I've been tempted many times to put tubular shocks on
Peyote, but never quite manage to make myself do it, despite having seen
what a total piece of crap Armstrong shocks are when you put them on a dyno.
They never do the same thing twice. Ah, well. They work.

I only got about an hour to play with a shock dyno here in Portland. I think
Jeff Quick managed to get some to perform after lots of time on Tony
Garmey's shock dyno. Jeff--what did you find out?

I bought a similar kit several years back, only the shocks are Carolla
(yellow painted shocks). I would have to look at the boxes to spell the
name right.
They are still sitting on the shelf. The kit shows one end of the shocks
mounted to the sheet metal. I believe that the Armstrong shocks and
mountings are a much better setup.
