I ran an O/D box as well - standard wide ratio. I rarely used it on the
tracks, where I tend to use 3rd and 4th gears only, but did on some
hillclimbs, as the gap between 2nd and 3rd is rather large.
For this season I'm getting a GT6-ratio-box, but decided to stay with the
O/D. Mostly for more comfortable street driving, really. But later this
season I will have my 4,88:1 differential, and then I suspect that some
tracks might need 4th + O/D at the end of the straights.

So my question to FOT Spit racers is how many are running OD Gearboxes?
In
the in-car video I heard shifts after the driver shifted into 4th with
the
gear lever.
