For those who wonder what the heck static bump steer is since bump steer is a dynamic measurement, there is some variation caused by steering input, especially at the extremes of tie rod travel. So I made up a term to describe measurements that don't take it into consideration. It's not important anyway--it's small, it's transient, and there's nothing you can do about it. |
