There is no getting around that without a bevy of 24 hr armed guards.

However for someone that wants to drive away with your vehicle a simple 
fuel shutoff valve in an inconspicuous location would be hard to beat.  
Or even a simple toggle switch connecting to the low voltage connection 
to your ignition.
