I have the 15 x 7 Pannasports (4" backspacing I believe) on my 4a and with 1/2" of spacers in the front and cantilever slicks. Things are real close, as in grinding some off the A arm flanges and removing the grease fittings from the BJ's. With vintage type rubber I think they'd work fine.
