This was a lap analysis of AMP that I did

>Very challenging. This is track that will certainly hurt you (time wise)
>if you are not paying attention.
>
>As I said the right hand T1-T2 (track entrance is on the outside of the
>exit of T2, corner station drivers right at the entrance to T2) has some
>camber to help you get around and carry your speed, the problem is that
>the exit of T2 drops off the other way and you will find yourself doing an
>early apex on the left hand T3 (the best place to watch the entire track
>is from a hill across from T3) with no track left on drivers right to make
>the right hand T4 which leads onto the long back straight based the
>starters stand.
>
>T5-T6-T7 is a right hand complex will also catch you out if you carry to
>much speed as you will clear T6 just fine but then find that the track as
>gotten real narrow, real quick as you continue around into the decreasing
>radius of T7! Fortunately it feels like there are acres of runoff room
>there. I can personally attest to it since I went straight off at almost
>100 mph there!
>
>The left hand T8-T9 (corner stations drivers left at the entrance to T8)
>turn seems like it should be fairly simple and maybe it is and I am just
>being a little to optimistic in how fast I can flog the car through
>there. That corner is actually tight enough and you have to slow down so
>far that our "locked" rear-end cars really struggle to get through
>there. I can only think of a few times that I got through there ok. It
>will take some more laps there to get a better feel for the breaking and
>turn-in points.
>
>Looking at a track map you would think that you can take the left hand T10
>easy flat (maybe in a bigger car you can pound the corner to do this, but
>not in a formula car) however you won't have the time or space to claw
>back to drivers left to setup for the mid track late apex of the right
>hand T11 which leads you to what looks like on a map as being a nice
>sweeping right hand T12. T12 is actually a double apex turn that almost
>has a short straight in the middle of it.
>
>That turn leads onto a really long straight down to the right-left-right
>T13-T14-T15 complex (where track exit is also located at T15, corner
>stations is drivers left at the entrance to T13). T15 seems a lot tighter
>than the track map shows and if you carry to much speed through the almost
>90 degree left hand T16 onto the short "front straight" you risk dropping
>a wheel off pavement on exit.
>
>One note about T13 as I was going in there I continually saw a "flash" of
>blue in my left side mirror that at first I took to be an overtaking car
>(since there had been some times when blue flags where not thrown), but it
>was not a car. If it was an awning or something I do not no but it was
>certainly disconcerting the first few times I saw it!
>
>All in all a very fun, technical and challenging track. I am glad that we
>have it here in our area. This gives me three tracks (Firebird, PIR and
>now AMP) all within 45 minutes of my home!
