Actually the SVRA website is wrong. I have exchanged a few emails with the 
webmaster who is on the case getting the correct info.

A total of 49 cars took the green flag for the all Triumph race, 42 cars 
went the distance.

Of the cars on the All-Triumph race grid, only 3 did not take the green flag:

George Wright (broke rear axle)
Henry Frye (ring gear in diff)
Sam White's Spitfire (he won the Group 1 Feature)

So, for a bunch of 25 to 50 year old race cars, we did real good, IMHO.
