It has been a while since I've driven in Ohio. Most likely the
last time was during my first stint in college, where Ohio was
merely an obstacle between Indiana U. and Seneca rocks in West
Virginia. So I have no idea how long it will take me to drive from
Indianapolis to the track. Anyone have a rough idea? I'll be in some
cheesy little econobox, no doubt - I don't think the Thrifty lot in Indy
will have any TR8 ragtops available.
Gee, this is getting close. One bad thing is that the Mid Ohio trip
and some time in Oregon coming up (friend's wedding in Corvallis) my travel
time and money will be too depleted to allow a trip to VTR for me. Drat.
It will be the first time I've missed it since 1990, I think. And there is
an unofficial VTR event occuring which I would love to attend. We shall
see.
