Does anyone know where I could get a rebuild kit for 7/8th inch rear
wheel cylinders. I don't know what they were used on. I did find
someone with a kit from an MG Magnet, but the dust covers did not fit
quite right. The cylindrs are Girling part numbers 304270 and 304250.
Maybe if someone has a Girling manual, you could see what they fit,
and they I can hunt for the kits that way. Joe(B)

I assume that those numbers are on the cylinders themselves and are casting
numbers. #304270 is listed as used on Bedford CA Van and big Austins such
as Taxis and A60s and Estate cars. It converts to a Girling part # of
64673804 and uses service kit # SP2032 which is used on many sports cars
(Morgan , 3000 etc). The complete cylinder(64673804) probably will not
interchange with the mentioned sports cars.

Casting #304250 converts to Girling part # 390430 and is no longer
supplied. A note says to use part # 67660130 in lieu. It is a 7/8" cylinder
that uses service kit # SP8550. Anyway the bottom line is to try Girling #
SP2032 to rebuild your cylinders.
