I think its important to keep in perspective that Friday through Sunday
is one of SVRA largest vintage events. Triumph is the feature marque, this
is
not an "FOT event". SVRA eligibility rules are more open to post 1972
racecars than many other vintage groups - again see the eligibility letter -
so certain TR7s and TR8 are eligible to run in SVRA events.
I personally sympathize with many of the remarks that you have made
regarding SCCA racecar particpation participation. From my perspective,
after
exchanging emails with Jack on this subject, the best option that we have
here is having an FOT test day on Wednesday and an "open" Triumph race on
Thursday at the end of testing. And even that proposal may not be feasible.
