I just had a thought. Some time ago I was talking to Duane Dunham, who lives in Georgia, and knows a thing or two about Spitfires. One subject was body panels, and he might have said something about lightweight windshields. I'll have to look up his numbers, all I remember was he had two lines, one being blah-blah-1147, the other blah-blah-1296. Perhaps someone who has an hour or two to kill could give him a call ;-) mjb. |
