Last Sunday was my first auto-x with my recently finished TR4a and it
functioned resonably well for having been finished the day before. I'd
like to thank this list and expecially Bob Lang for your help and
inspiration. (where's that tr6 Bob?)

Now the question. When taking a run the motor seems to run out of go
above 3000 or so rpm's. I'm runing SU carbs and Bob L. who was helping
noticed there was no oil in them (the one job I left to my brother) The
plugs are light tan to a little to white for comfort. I'm running the
"D" cam and an ignitor ignition with MSD box (6000 rpm rev limit) Facet
cheapo fuel pump, ll to 1 or so compresion.

Any sugestions of where to start? Seems to run great of the line then
quickly goes into slow mode.
