I've got a stainless exhaust, wrapped, and though the stuff is a little messy to install, it does reduce the engine compartment temperature and makes it feasible to work in the area much quicker. I hear that the mild steel pipes rust quicker when you do it, but obviously no problem with what I used. I've seen my pipes glowing deep red before I wrapped them. At least now I can't see that rather scary sight. |
