Jerry, Jack,
I'd be glad to...give me a few days. I am off to put to put bread on the
table for a couple days. Returning Friday.
This is a story involving an extraordinary happenstance with a retired
gentleman who attended the "24 Hours" in 1955, as a young serviceman,
and a chance meeting I had with him in Minnesota.
A week later, Linda & I had a meeting with John Fitch (Pierre Levegh's
Co-Driver, of course) at his home near Limerock while doing some of our
famous long distance touring in the TR3. I had hoped to meet him in any
case, but the "artifact" I had in my hand startled him a bit.
More later...I'll make it short, tho
