Hi Dave,
I have a set of dual downdraft Webers and the Cannon adapters, cost me
$100.00, yours for the same. I haven't tried them and you would need to
build linkage and go through the carbs. Might be more trouble than new
SU's, but I'm sure you have your reasons and I won't pontificate.

Another very cool alternative I'm thinking about is using a pair of single
throat Mikuni's, designed to replace SU's. Here's one source.

I'm thinking about it for my 64 with the U20

If you suspect the ignition, give me a call, glad to loan you a known good
distributor or check yours, no charge just shipping.

We are tired of the carbs on Amy's 1966. I have raised float level, lowered
the float level, new metering rods, old metering rods......Will not start
hot. My car a 1970 hit the key and instant start no matter cold hot in
between. I have had it and multiply that 100 times with you know who. Anyone
know of any parts, complete assemblies? Thanks
