I'm using Aluminized Bloxide on the metal surfaces before welding,  
supposed to protect against rust. The inside welds are covered with  
seam sealer, then self-etching primer and rust-converter elsewhere as  
needed. Also will be using non-lead body solder on the outside as  
needed.
