Do the fuel pump screws work? They look the same.
 Also, has anyone looked into getting them made?
The Screw Project....yikes.

There a bunch of metric sizes that were dropped when the ISO standard 
was
agreed upon. There was 5x.75, 5x.8 and 5x.9 in the 5mm size. 5x.8 is 
the current

  standard. On the early roadsters, things Nissan assembled, bodies,  
engines
and such were SAE, usually fine thread. Stuff they purchased as an  
assembly,
carbs, gauges, tended to be metric.
