I encoutnered the same thing, and I was told the pads were chattering agains the pistons, until they got warm. I slipped them out and added a thin layer of white lube, between pad steel backing and piston face. worked fine for about 6 months. Yep, it always squeaked at low speed, so they squeaked for my neighbors early in the morning, and at every car show I attended. (!!!) Didn't have any problem removing them for re-application.
