In addition to the float valve check the actual float. The original floats are brass. IF They get a pinhole leak they fill with gas AND you got it,they don't float. Pull it out of the bowl and shake it. If you hear anything inside thats your problem. I had the exact same thing happen. Just replace the float. Dave |
