I don't know the exact MPH I was getting but here is something interesting.

Joe Roach has a 1500, a  5spd tranny(yes a 5 speed, I should know he bought it
from me) and a 3.89 rear.

I have a 2L with solex's and a B cam with 3.89 rear and everytime we stopped
for gas we were within 2/-3/10 of gallon.  We started the trip together and
pretty much where ever I was so was Joe
