Hopefully a quick, easy (and cheap) response can help me out here. I had my 68
2000 safety inspected last weekend and - although it was marginal last time,
the idler arm bushing needs to be replaced. No problem, I already had the
part. After a pickle fork, hammer and lots or worry I removed the tie-rod ends
form the idler arm, but not without first destroying the grease boot between
the two. There is a grease boot between the tie-rod end and the idler arm and
another one between the idler arm and control-arm to spindle link.

Is there a generic grease boot number I can use at AutoZone, NAPA or other
parts store to use as a replacement for these grease boots? I believe the
original Nissan number is 48522-25900.

TIA,

Perry Smith 68 2000
