him my biggest THANKS!!
It would be great to have RA weekend as the east coast "Shasta"! The races
are a lot of fun - not everyday you get to see a Roadster run against some
of the best, and Nissan's old race cars all in one weekend. SEROCers are a
wonderful bunch of people which makes for a very nice weekend with the
Roadster. So, if you are out a few miles away and need a Roadster "fix",
get in and DRIVE! Hey, if I can be in the dog house for a week after RA -
so can you.

Our SEROC - Road Atlanta Fifth Anniversary T-shirts are ready to order!
You can see the design of the shirt at the URL below. Go to page 4. The
design and the colors are displayed. Shirts are white and come in short or
long sleeve.

Short sleeve shirts are $15.00 (same price for the last 5 years) and Longies
(new this year) are $17.00. When ordering, please state the size you want
and short or long sleeve. I will take personnel checks, money orders and
cash. (or a complete timing chain, gear, adjuster set for a U20:-)
Also let me know if you'll be picking up the shirt(s) at Road Atlanta or if
you'd like it/them mailed to you. Please add your snail mail address. When
I mail it to you just add the cost of the mailing from the front of the
package. Mailing usually runs around $2.50 to $3.50 depending what part of
the country you're from. So, if you attend RA you save the cost of mailing,
WOW! another bonus!
We are really forward to a record turn out this spring. After a tuff year
weather wise we are ready for some Roadstering! We are now up to 160 members
in SEROC and we want as many of you as possible to attend. Let me correct
that, We want ALL Y'ALL to attend. Attention SEROC member Phill Brook in
Australia (hey, "down under" is as far south as we get) you'd better leave
now. It is a long drive.
As we ask every year, please swing by your favorite auto store and pick up
something to donate for a "car door" prize. Or, even and old roadster part.
We will also be raffling off our traditional rotating Roadster part that
comes with a title, suitable for framing, of course.
Dale John's was our winner last year but, will be attending his daughter's
wedding instead of attending RA this year (go figure):-) Dale just mailed
the precious part back to me, so we're ready to raffle!
We will also have our traditional tire burger BBQ on Saturday and in the
P.M. Applebees SEROC Club dinner in Gainesville. Club laps on Sunday, watch
our own Tom Phelan race his 67.5 - 2000 and much more!
Don't forget your ear plugs, sun screen, camera/film, lawn chairs and a hat.
Those of you that have room for some burger condiments let me know what
you'd like to bring. Gayle and I will bring the burgers.
