What if you went to propane like the old Morgan 8s? Would that pass
California specs? I don't believe the MGB GT V8 was ever imported because
of pollution laws in 1973, but there is a MGB V8 registry on-line
http://www.mgbv8.com/convention_page.htm. Maybe they can help.
